From Glory to Glory

"In the last days, I will pour my spirit out on all flesh..." Joel 2:28

A last days fulfillment of this prophecy was seen by many during the fall camp meeting at Abundant Life Ministries, Church of God. On October 7, 2007 Senior Pastors Edwin and Eulene Lainhart proudly welcomed Dr. T.L. Lowery as our opening speaker. Miraculous signs and wonders followed the sermon in both the a.m. and p.m. services. Hell continues to quake from the demonstration of God's power through salvation, healing, and deliverance that day. A modern day Acts experience was seen as many filled with the third person of the Trinity, God the Holy Spirit. The evidence of his presence was heard as their heavenly language was freely spoken. Our body of believers will never be the same as the strength of that outpouring continues to intensify. Skeptics abandon their doubts and demons scrabble to escape this God ordained infusion of power.

The former rain of the anointing followed the patriarchs of old who refused to be moved away from their violent hunger for God and His fullness. In James we are reminded that, in the last days, God will add the latter rain of anointing to the former rain given to the patriarchs. This is the manifestation of power that has engulfed our body of believers, as we too are violently hungry for God and His fullness. During the services with Dr. Lowery there was an impartation of power into the lives of Senior Pastor Edwin Lainhart as well as our Youth Pastor Chad Lainhart.

God, through his prophet Dr. Lowery, spoke over Pastor Edwin that a fresh anointing, stronger than ever would cover his life and ministry. The fullness of that anointing continues to be revealed as its intensity climbs sharply. The manifested presence of God flows so freely that it is extremely difficult for pastor to stand while ministering under its power. This power now effects anyone coming in contact with it or simply being in the general vicinity of its impact. Some describe it as electrifying while others were awe struck in God's presence. The hunger for more has cause many to linger not wanting the service to end. God continued to speak through Dr. Lowery over Pastor Chad that a greater anointing was engulfing him. While the miracles seen in Dr. Lowery's ministry were amazing and God sent, Pastor Chad would see double the ministry miracles in his. The manifestation of this anointing has been nothing less that miraculous as it flows through Pastor Chad to our youth as well. It's as though they now have the fire of God shut up in their bones. Compromise has now been replaced with violently contagious hunger raging over our youth. This impartation of power to our pastors reminds us of two prophets of old, Elijah and Elisha.

The ministry of Dr. T.L. Lowery has left and impact on our lives that is unmistakable. His words of encouragement and recognition of excellence in this ministry has lifted our hearts and inspired us on to greater works in God. As we watch our church family being transferred from glory to glory it is abundantly clear that God is truly NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS! What He did to fill those who were violently hungry in the days of old, He is doing for those who are violently hungry in the church today, the last days!
